By accessing or using Product51 at productfiftyone.com (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service
Product51 is a product discovery and launch platform for human-crafted software, hardware, and maker goods. We provide tools to submit, discover, and upvote products. The Service is provided as-is and may change or be discontinued at any time.
Accounts
You may create an account using GitHub or Google OAuth. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must not share your account credentials or allow others to use your account.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- ✕Submit products where AI is the core feature or primary value (our defining rule)
- ✕Submit false, misleading, or spam product listings
- ✕Use bots, scripts, or automated means to vote, comment, or interact
- ✕Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
- ✕Attempt to access systems or data you are not authorised to access
- ✕Impersonate another person or entity
- ✕Use the Service in violation of any applicable law
Content you submit
You retain ownership of content you submit. By submitting content, you grant Product51 a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, and distribute that content on the Service.
You represent that you have the rights to submit any content you post, that it does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights, and that it complies with these terms.
We may remove any content at our discretion, including submissions that violate the no-AI-products rule, spam, or content that is otherwise inappropriate.
Intellectual property
The Product51 name, logo, and platform code are owned by Product51. Nothing in these terms grants you rights to use our trademarks or branding without prior written permission.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Product51 does not endorse, verify, or take responsibility for any product listed on the platform. Any dealings between you and a product maker are solely between you and that maker.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Product51 and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in the United States.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be noted with a revised date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
